USGBC Leed - Home Certification: Units designated for Certification under this program are subjected to all available LEED-HOME requirements in the factory.  (Rough Inspection) After delivery to the erection site a final inspection is conducted by a Certified Green Rater.  The results are submitted to a Provider who obtains Certification of the home from the USGBC.
 
 
A LEED-certified building/home is designed and constructed in accordance with the rigorous guidelines of the LEED green building certification program. The following LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Rating Systems are available:
 
·      New Construction (NC)
·      Core & Shell (CS)
·      Schools (SCH)
·      Retail
·      Healthcare (HC)
·      Homes

LEED is a consensus-developed, third party-verified, voluntary rating system which promotes the design and construction of high-performance green buildings/homes.
